The Untz Festival drops 2017 lineup! Early Bird tickets on-sale now.

It's finally here. Today we revealed the initial lineup for The Untz Festival 2017, and it's a doozy! Returning June 2-4 to the Mariposa County Fairgrounds in Mariposa, California, our second year is going to be a big level up for us in terms of lineup, production, and vibes—all we need is you.

Wakaan superstars Liquid Stranger and Space Jesus are reunited after this past spring's epic tour. Martin Stääf and Jasha Tull have knocked out two killer fall tours individually, but we had to get them back together for our festie.

If it's classic dubstep you like, the pairing of Liquid Stranger with New Zealand's TRUTH is almost too much to handle. Deep, Dark & Dangerous—you got it.

Monsters of experimental bass EPROM, Yheti, Shlump, Conrank, Tsuruda, and Sayer make this one of the most cutting-edge bills on the block. We like it weird.

The biggest thing that fans will notice in 2017, is that we crewed up hard. What fun is it throwing a party, if you've got to do all the work yourself? We answered that great question—teamwork makes the dreamwork. We've joined forces with some incredible crews from the west coast, Colorado, and the midwest to really make The Untz Festival feel like a collective.

On Friday, June 2, we'll be hosting an Early Arrival Party for fans wanting to get on the grounds ahead of schedule to get the party started proper. Legendary underground dubstep crew sub.mission is helping us start things on the right foot by bringing out NastyNasty, The Widdler, and Thelem. A Saturate Records mainstay, a dubstep icon, and a rising star of bass. That's a helluva kickoff.

For years, one crew in the Bay Area has made it mandatory to get weird each and every Wednesday. The Wormhole Music Group out of Oakland is coming on board to send our late night programming into hyperdrive. These guys have been bringing progressive artists to the Bay for a while, and their late night stage is no different, hosting Canada's greatest export, The Librarian, as well as Aussie glitch master Circuit Bent. They will be joined by a lineup of Wormhole residents who make us say TGIW.

The Untz FestivalFrom the heart of the midwest comes ThazDope Records, throwing down a big ol' lineup on its own stage. We've been watching acts like Aplsoz, Alejo, Psydell, and Toadface grow and develop over the years, and the amount of attention paid to their careers is due in no small part to the hustle on ThazDope's part, which has found itself anchoring guerilla stages at festivals across the country. Now the crew is throwing its own stage the legit way, and that means they can go as big and as bad as they want on the production end. That's going to be a party zone.

We've seen ShadowTrix Music blow up over the past year. This left-field label has dropped some of the nastiest records of the past year, and is steaily gaining traction around the industry for producing the next generation of bass music stars. The collective co-helmed by Trevor Kelly and Treemeista, is headed up by Kelly's collaborative project with Shlump, RudeBoyNoize. Let's just say “fuck yeah” to that powerhouse combo. Some of our favorites like Kozmo, Kowta, ChopsJunkie, and ShermGerm will be coming out to keep the party going into the wee hours of the morning.

For years, the battle has raged between audiophiles and festival goers whether Funktion-One or pK Sound holds it down heavy and clean on the sonic front. Wood Street Productions is loading up a truck full of pK's and heading to Mariposa to power ShadowTrix's late night soiree, as well as supplying the world-famous Trinity system (which debuted last year powering Shambhala, EDC's Bassrush, and Bassnectar in Arizona) for the main stage. Source One Audio Solutions and Soundsystem Cultures are bringing in Funktion-One rigs for the Wormhole and ThazDope stages, respectively. With two stages of F1's and two stages of pK's, there will be plenty more fodder for this argument, and in the end, the fans win.

Juliana LiBFinally the STL Moon Tribe is hosting wellness, spirituality, and yoga workshops. You know their work from the inaugural Astral Observatory festival which hit Missouri over Labor Day Weekend. Expect tea ceremonies, seminars on self-growth, and guided meditations. Looking to center yourself, get away from it all, and reflect? This is your safe space.

But that's not all that's new this year. In addition to the cozy, comfortable surrounds that fans enjoyed so much last year at the fairgrounds, we are introducing a limited number of car camping passes, for those who don't ever want to be too far from their vehicles. Same as last year, we have RV passes for those with or without hookups, but indoor showers and bathrooms can be enjoyed by all. Throw in plenty of water stations, a huge selection of beer and food, and the wait until June just got unbearably difficult.

Spend the time between now and summer studying up on some of these incredible acts with whom you may not be quite familiar just yet (but trust us, they're going to be the mega-stars of tomorrow). But don't waste time in getting your tickets. This limited run of Early Bird tickets at this low, low price won't last forever.

Visit www.theuntzfestival.com to snag your tickets, parking passes, RV spots, and most importantly those valuable car camping vouchers, and spread the news to your friends that The Untz Festival is back and bigger than ever.
