• ALCOHOL

Our non-profit alcohol partner for this year's event will be the Dobbins-Oregon House Improvement Foundation, which will be receiving 100% of the profits from the alcohol sales of the festival. Their mission is to build and support a place to meet, provide improved health & safety services, enhance education, and assist with disaster relief in Dobbins, Oregon House, and the Yuba County foothill communities.
We will have a full-bar with everything you need on-site including beer, wine, and vodka mixed drinks. Those with a valid state-issued ID showing that they are twenty-one years old or over will be able to access the bar. Due to California state alcohol laws and the California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control, alcoholic beverages from the outside will not be permitted into the venue, which includes car and walk-in camping. You will also not be permitted to drink alcohol in the parking lot area. Violation of these rules will lead to your wristband being removed, and you will no longer have access to the event. Vending of alcohol is prohibited.

• PHOTOGRAPHY

If you want to take professional quality photos or videos, please fill out our MEDIA APPLICATION and make arrangements in advance.

• PET & SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY

Service animals are working animals, not pets. Service animals are dogs that are trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties.

Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Pets are strictly and expressly prohibited at The Untz Festival. Pets may not be kept anywhere on festival grounds, including campsites, parking lots, in RVs or other vehicles.

Service animals attending The Untz Festival must be registered by their handler at the box office upon arrival. Anyone with an unauthorized animal will not be permitted to keep their pet on site and will be asked to leave. Please present your ADA vehicle certification and PWD service animal certification upon arrival. If bringing a service animal on-site, your certification should be on-hand at all times.

Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
The Untz Festival reserves the right to refuse admittance to or eject any individual whose conduct poses a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals or service animals.

Anyone found to be sneaking in to the event will be escorted off-site, and may be charged with trespassing. It is a hassle and expensive. Please spread the word; sneaking in is NOT worth it.

• PWD & ADA SERVICES

Please present your certificate upon arrival to the gate. Simply alert our gate staff to your needs when you arrive and we will show you the designated ADA Camping area. Service animals do not require event passes, but must be on a leash at all times, present with their owner, and have their accreditation visible on-site at all times.

We have had reports of some patrons borrowing or otherwise falsely using accessible parking placards or tags. This uses valuable space that we are reserving for patrons who actually have disabilities. It is against the law for anyone to use an accessible parking placard that was issued to another person. It is against the law to duplicate an accessible parking placard. It is against the law to park in an accessible parking space without a legitimate accessible parking placards. As vehicles arrive, we will check identification to confirm legitimate use of these placards and will contact authorities in situations with improper use.

• WASTE MANAGEMENT

Bring extra trash and recycling bags to take your personal and camp waste off-site with you, and do your part by cleaning up any random garbage or MOOP (Matter Out Of Place) that you see, as well as from your campsite before leaving. We appreciate your cooperation.
